Non includes $6 Stickers for the conservation this is an additional that must be paid with cash at out office before the tour starts. 

This tour will happen at Night, along the Caribbean cost, to observe the nesting process of sea turtles, accompanied by a local certificated tour guide who will explain you the process or actions that are taking place in the world of sea turtles during their nesting season (July 1st to October 31st )

Without a doubt this is one of the most special experiences while admiring the effort of one of the longest living species on the planet to ensure its survival.

You will be allowed to observe 4 of the 7 processes that the turtle performs while nesting.

These 4 processes are:

4th -The spawning of eggs.

5th - Compaction of the eggs.

6th - Camouflage of the nest.

7th - Return of the turtle to the sea.

Prices per person:

350 $ in PRIVATE per person maximum 10 people.

How does the Turtle Tour work?

1st You must hire a certified turtle tour guide, pay service fully in advance.

2nd The tour guide will visit the park to take place in to a Raffle at 5 pm.

3rd schedules will be provided by National park on a Raffle at 5:45pm (we can NOT choose Schedules )

4th Your guide will provide you with information about the tour guide lines, the tour schedule and the sector assigned by the park, which could be meeting around 19:30 or 21:30.

5th Once you have that information, you must prepare yourself with the appropriate equipment (clothes, shoes, etc.).

6th Meet your guide at the assigned schedules.

7th Your guide will take you to the assigned sector.

8th Once in the sector building your guide will begin an explanation of the history of sea turtles while the SPOTTERS find a ready turtle.

(The SPOTTER program was implemented in order to reduce stress and impact to turtles during tours, this was suggested by STC, this institution was established since 1958 by Archie Carr, to study, understand and help sea turtles )

9th To OBSERVER the turtle nesting proceses a turtle, must be relaxed and ready, for this to happen, the turtle must arrived and worked about 1 hour ago.

10th Normally, the Spotter directs the guides and their groups to a particular spot on the beach close to where the Turtle is, once the spotter determines that the turtle is relaxed and ready to lay its eggs, he will deliver the turtle to the guides, who will be organized to show the 4 allowed processes.

11⁰ Once the observation of the 4 processes is finished, we must leave the beach, it does not matter if there is still time within the 2 hour limit, this because the regulation does NOT allow the observation of the 4 processes to be repeated with other turtles, in order to reduce the tourist impact to turtles.

12⁰ The end point of the tour will be at El Almendro or what was previously contracted.

Schedules: 8pm or 10pm

Schedules are defined by the national park schedules and sector raffle, after 5:45 pm, schedules will be communicated to our guest.

What to bring:

Small backpack,mosquito repellent, raincoat or poncho, flashlights or cellphones, bottled water.

How to dress: Black clothing or as dark as possible (no white) long pants and long sleeves, closed shoes, like hiking or rubber boots.

We do not cancel tours because of the rain, it is normal in the tropical RAIN FOREST and the turtles come already wet from the SEA : )

By the way, taking photos is not allowed so DO NOT bring cameras, camcorders please.
