1st While on the road will past coffee plantations

2nd we will head into the mountains of BRAULIO CARRILLO NATIONAL PARK where steep slopes are covered with thick cloud forest and beautiful waterfalls can be seen from the road.

3rd After breakfast break on the way yo take the boat on the road will see BANANA & PINEAPPLE PLANTATIONS amoung others, where you will get explained the process of growing and exporting that fruit.

4t After 3 hours driving we will abandon our (car or bus) and embark on the most exciting part of this tour:

the boat trip will be 1 hour into the jungle of the TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK.

we will learn about how nature works and to get a real feel of our tropical humid rainforest. Covering 29000 hectareas.

TORTUGUERO IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT NESTING SITES OF CHELONIA MYDAS, the green sea turtle, where as its forests and waterways are home for such endangered mammals such as sloths, monkeys, agoutis, coatis and manatees. There are also abundant birds, such as toucans, trogons, egrets, herons and anhingas, as well as crocodiles, turtles and countless colorfull butterflies, including blue morpho.

Once in Tortuguero your guide will help you get to your Hotel and will help to clear any questions you have.
